Who are the Important Toy Story Characters?

Today’s youngsters grow up watching not hand drawn animated films, but computer animated movies like Toy Story. This paved the way for more computer animated films in the next several years up to now. The geniuses behind Pixar have already released two Toy Story films and will release the third one in 2010. The main characters remain the same. If you still do not know who the major Toy Story characters are for some reasons, here are short descriptions of each of them.

Woody

One of the major Toy Story characters is Woody. This sheriff cowboy is partially made of plastic. Woody is Andy’s best loved toy. He also leads all the other toys in Andy’s room by himself, until Buzz Lightyear, Andy’s new toy, enters the picture.

Buzz Lightyear

This space ranger is an action figure and has high-tech features that Woody, a traditional, old-fashioned toy, does not have. He is Andy’s new toy. Because of Woody’s jealousy at the beginning of the story, they became rivals. But as the story develops, the two of them became friends and led the other toys as a team.

Bo Peep

She is made of porcelain and is actually a display in Molly’s room, Andy’s sister, but is also considered to be a part of Andy’s toys because he always uses her as the lady in distress when he is playing with his toys.

Mr. Potato Head

This classic toy also made its way to this popular computer animated film. He is one of the major Toy Story characters and has swinging moods.

Hamm

He is a piggy bank an is considered as Mr. Potato Head’s best bud.
